Cute Card

Kat bought this mothers day card for mum yonks ago.  I love the colours, the brush strokes and the fact that the cat must be teeny weeny for this to work.

V & A museum Exhibition

The V and A museum are doing "The Power of Making" exhibition looks cool and I think the fullsize crochet bear could be a hit with someone! Would love to visit haven't been to a museum in ages. Not sure the sprogs would enjoy it though!

Colour palattes

Was looking for ideas for a colour scheme for Freya's bedroom and stumbled across the site colour lovers Who would have thought that you could loose so much time just looking through pictures of colours!

 However interestingly, even though I love the colour palettes I didnt necessarily like the effect of  the colours in the images created with them, it is amazing how much difference the balance of colours can make. Such a massive subject area you can really loose yourself in it. I wonder if there is a similar psychology for patterns?
Back to the task at hand and colours for Freyas room. I like the colour plum, and I want it to be feminine but not girly and it has to go with the navy red and white that lewis has on his side of the room.

Not quite there yet maybe they look a little dull?(It is a bedroom though) I will come back to it with fresh eyes later. The next problem will be finding fabrics and things in the colours. This site could be helpful as it prints your custom designs onto fabric www.spoonflower.com I haven't had a proper look though yet but it looks like there are a lot of yummy fabrics on there to choose from.
