Clay Jam. This game is super cute, wacky and addictive.

This game was made by a company quite local to us - Fat Pebble in Brighton, UK.

I love the style, brightly coloured claymation monsters that you have to squish with the rolling pebble to collect clay to rebuild the hills that the Bully Beasts have eaten!

I love the main character, that yellow fellow up there awesomely named Jiggery von Pokery.

I am a sucker for characters. I always have been and I think I always will be. A lot of people have always said to me about it and to be honest I never really thought about it. Perhaps it's something I should concentrate and focus more on developing.

These hyper real photographs are from a book titled Bird by Andrew Zuckerman he has also done a book called Creature which is equally beautiful.

You need look no further than nature for inspiration for colour, shape or form. These photographs of weird and wonderful underwater creatures are by Alexander Semenov. This last one reminds me of fairy lights!

 I am rather partial to a bit of fashion illustration, I love the poses in these super long legged figures, Amy has a really unique style see more on the Tibi website.

Studio Soi

A selection of some of the beautiful work done by Studio Soi based in Germany. They are of course probably most well known for their work on the Gruffalo animation based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Treat yourself to a look through the production pages they are tasty!

Instagram is a great place to find creative types. I don't follow many people as of yet but i have a feeling I will begin to as it's a great way to network with like-minded people.

I follow the lovely KittyPinkStars and noticed one of her photos was liked by 'FinestImaginary'. The name caught my attention straight away and I was compelled to find out more.

Finest Imaginary is the creative baby of Kim Lawler, a UK based crafter who has a beautiful array of kooky cute and awesome products. She is a huge inspiration as she has now quit her day job and runs Finest Imaginary full time.



Kim also has a personal blog that she fills with posts of her every day life and behind the scenes workings of her job.
