Finest Imaginary
Instagram is a great place to find creative types. I don't follow many people as of yet but i have a feeling I will begin to as it's a great way to network with like-minded people.
I follow the lovely KittyPinkStars and noticed one of her photos was liked by 'FinestImaginary'. The name caught my attention straight away and I was compelled to find out more.
Finest Imaginary is the creative baby of Kim Lawler, a UK based crafter who has a beautiful array of kooky cute and awesome products. She is a huge inspiration as she has now quit her day job and runs Finest Imaginary full time.
Kim also has a personal blog that she fills with posts of her every day life and behind the scenes workings of her job.

i366 (i365): Week 1
Last year I took a photo (nearly) every day for a year using my iPhone.
I loved it and I will continue to do it for 2012... and this year I will be more organised about it because although I took the photos in 2011... they're not all organised, or all on flickr or ultimately, ready to be printed into a book.
To help myself keep organised, I will dedicate some time each Saturday to blog the last weeks photos, so here is week one!

The Paper Fox
Jeremey Kool is creating an interactive digital story book called the Paper Fox for tablets.
I adore the style. Its all created in 3D yet, the environments and characters all look to be made and crafted in paper.

The tale of three brothers
The tale of three brothers is a shadow puppet style animation in the Harry Potter Deathly Hallows film, directed by Ben Hibbon and created by framestore. There is an article about it at fx guide. It is a beautifully styled animation well worth three minutes of your time.

Studio AKA
I think studio aka is my favorite animation studio, I love so many of the things they have done. Take a look at their most recent showreel here.
My favourite is lost and found an animation based on the book by Oliver Jeffers...
and I love the big win or bag of smiles advert for camelot remember that one?
Of course there's the Lloyds Tsb campaign...
The Winter Olymics on the BBC, JoJo and the stars...
And a new one is the norwegian advert for Statoil, there is an article about it at skwigly magazine. (which is also full of loads of other yummy stuff )
And if you want to loose a few more hours of your life then take a look at the Cartoon Brew site!
